Current Events
Advent:
The Quirlicorn Advent will be posted each day from December 1st through December 21st (The solstice).
For this years Advent we’ll raffle off one Mystery Box Custom each day. We’ll also gift the listed item for that day to each person who enters the raffle. This means that you can win something every single day, so be sure to keep an eye out for each days Advent being posted.
Additionally we’re gifting cookies which are a new in game currency only available through our Advent events.

Winter Solstice:
The Winter Solstice will be posted on the 21st of December, and as usual will feature a fun prompt to get your Quirlicorns magic firing! Please keep an eye out for that posting.
Joust Pas d’Armes:
December Joust Pas d’Armes is running as usual. Please be sure to sign up on or before December 5th if you wish to participate in the Joust Pas d’Armes this month. You can find the link for signing up HERE.
Black Friday Sales
Our Black Friday Sales are running through the end of 2021, so this is a great time to purchase any customs or dews you’d like. Everything is 50% off!
This is also the only time of the year you’ll be able to purchase Mystic Customs.
HoHo Mutation
For the last few years we’ve always added a new mutation in December. This year we added the Displaced Horn mutation (HoHo) in hopes of satisfying the needs of those who would prefer to have horns displaced and were displeased with always having to keep horns in their original locations.
This may have worked more easily as a dew, however it seemed like a good mutation to keep with the yearly tradition.
Swap Items in your Bank!
In the past we’ve given out a lot of very specific items, like specific Dews or specific mutation genes or specific magics. And while the idea to do it that way at the time seemed good, we’ve found that many of those specific items end up simply sitting in the bank unused.
While members are entirely allowed to use items when they see fit, meaning it’s okay to hold on to items, we also feel many are sitting simply because they aren’t the items the member would like or can use at the time.
We’ve been making an effort to move away from specific items like “Sleipnir Dew” in favor of giving a more generalized option instead “Dew of Choice”.
At this time we’d like to offer item swapping.
Item swapping will be limited to the type of item you are swapping. So a dew for a dew, a token for a token.
We’re also restricting swapping to Dews, Tokens, Genes, and Magics.
If you have any items in your bank you’d like to swap please use the Cha ching! Cash In Select Bank Items forum to swap them out.
December Incentive - Yule Deer
Is it December already? With the winter solstice nearing, magic is increasing in the world of Quirlicorns.
As we all know, Quirlicorns reach peaks in their magic on each solstice, but this winter something unexpected happened! Foals born in the month of December have been found to take on special traits. Tails distorted into a small tuft of fluff, horns now antlers, swirls and quirls optional. The cause of this is still uncertain, but we speculate that the solstice’s magic is at work here, so take advantage of it while you can! For this months incentive any Quirlicorns bred or imported may add antlers of any type and or deer like tails in place of the standard Quirlicorn horns and/or tails.

897 – Caitiona
Catriona is a beautiful mare who has been brought out of the Stray Centre and into the spotlight by xxGaea. She has gone head first into the fray, both in jousts and land quests and has become a recognizable member of the community. Congrats on being December’s Quirlicorn of the Month!
