Welcome to the Icy Region! Do you like snow, cold, and ice skating? This is the place for you! Whether you would like to make connections on your journey, find a place to call home, or play hide and seek with Haukea, the Icy Region has a lot to offer!
The Icy Region is exactly that: Colder and icier than the other regions. Tall boreal forests rest within the Icy region, accompanied by arctic ice flows, and even a few glaciers. It can be blinding in the sunlight from all the reflection, but the nights can be frigid. A warm heart and hardy constitution are needed to traverse this cold yet beautiful land. The very land can seem aloof like its deity, not quite welcoming, but not quite warning you away.
The Icy Region shares borders with 2 other regions. The land along the border varies according to region.
Plains Border: The air gets warmer and the plant life becomes more vibrant the closer that you get to the plains. Frozen land turns to frosted tundra, eventually melding to flow into the great grasses of the Plains. While along the border is more plentiful, the frigid tundra temperatures still require one to stay warm!
Windy Border: The tundra that separates the Icy Region from the Windy swiftly changes from its tundra aesthetic into something more rocky. The canyons, cliffs and crevasses of the Windy region invade the edges of the Icy region creating beautiful vistas, wondrous natural carved stones, and other high standing beauties - just be careful not to slip!
