Who's Your Crush? (Valentines 2022 Event)

“How could you forget about Valentine’s Day?!” 

Khaalida winced, looking over at her daughter, Sidra. 

“To be completely fair, there was a lot of chaos this past month! Entropy, new deities, all of it!” Khaalida said defensively, but from the look Sidra was giving her, it wasn’t really working. 

“Okay, okay, fine I completely forgot,” Khaalida admitted. “But not because I was lazy! I was busy.” 

Sidra rolled her eyes. “By now you normally have an obnoxious amount of decorations up and glitter everywhere that takes months to clean up. You really are slacking,” she teased. 

Khaalida sighed, shaking her head. “Well next time a new Realm happens to pop up you can be the one to investigate,” she muttered.

“Whatever, Ma,” Sidra grinned. “Obviously you have to do something about this though! It’s a holiday!” 

Khaalida thought for a moment, then grinned. “Why not go confess to your crush?” she teased, and Sidra’s cheeks turned bright red. 

“Why don’t you?” Sidra shot back. 

“Why doesn’t everyone?” Khaalida said with a laugh. “Quick, gather the fastest messengers to go across the Realms! Today is a day of love, and we should all express it!” 

“Or rather cause people a lot of embarrassment,” Sidra pointed out. 

Khaalida snorted. “You are the one who said we need to do something,” Khaalida replied. “Spreading love and having an excuse to be brave enough to tell someone how you feel is a great way to do so! Sometimes all you need is that little extra push toward a happy ending after all!”
