As toxic as the world’s most deadliest poison, Max is a tricky character to break through to. You do not want to be his friend, in fact it is so bluntly obvious of his selfishness that no one in their right mind would want to in the first place. However, you do want to be on his good side. For all his serious moments, there are plenty of funny and goofy times as well. Max is a very blunt and honest individual; a realist. If he says you’re all going to die when heading out of the port- you probably are.

History

It seems like there was never a time Max was Not leading a ship, rumor has it he was born from the sea herself and stationed upon a vessel. Then his ships grew in numbers, and so did his power. This caught the attention of an Emperor, the Vadaam’s, and with a city of almost entirely gold, it was hard for Max to turn down the offer. Soon they became friends, the only problem was that Max had to give up his way of life and convert to the Emperor’s set of ideals. Easier said than done, but he did it. For a century he was clean and feared by all, and then he started slipping. The naval ships became corrupt and returned with wealth from foreign lands and more captives than the prisons could hold. All were at the mercy of the Mad Pirate Lord Max. The Emperor has been in denial of such claims, leaving little for anyone else to argue against. Max has been playing his cards well, and knows just what strings to pull.
