Roy is a cunning and charismatic stallion from the desert who uses his way with words to get what he wants, whether it be some peace and quiet or treasure. He's got a good memory, which he uses to swindle others and to pick out anything unusual in his environment or in the behaviors of others. He acts laid-back and noble to keep any suspicions off his back but, in reality, he is quite spiteful and has a temper, which tends to rear it's ugly head when ladies deny his advances.

Roy comes from a desert region kingdom that has dissolved in his foalhood due to bankruptcy and corruption. (name still pending lol) Roy managed to escape with some of the nobility and lived in the way he best knew how: as a manipulative thief who runs away once those around him have nothing left to give him. Along the way, he picked up a small gazelle named Tommy, is who akin to a little sister to him. She is quite naïve and does not quite realize that what her brother's actions are often wrong. 

After being down on his luck for quite some time, Roy sought refuge in the kingdom of Sung’Vii, where he was eventually lured into the navy by the prospected of being fed and housed in exchange for some adventure and gain.
