Suggestion: Change the timing of the monthly joust a bit so that members can sign up 5 days before the month starts and can perhaps be assigned on the first, thus giving the whole month to create art.
Additional Information: The reason behind this would be to give an extra few days to those who have rather hectic schedules, but want to participate in the jousts. I know it's only a few days, but that whole 30 days may help encourage more participation and help with less stress towards entering the event in case unexpected things happen during the month.
