Twice a year the solstices can be observed on either side of the globe. For this equinox we observe the Spring Equinox in the northern hemisphere and the Fall Equinox in the southern hemisphere.
Quirlicorns gain their magic from the sun and moon respectively and as a result can experience magic they have not yet earned during each solstice or equinox.

Oh Oh!! It seems that magic is misfiring in the world of Quirlicorns!
The cosmic forces which keep magic working as intended have been a bit off balance lately. As a result this solstice is packed with magic that is completely misfiring! Telepathic Quirlicorns are suddenly projecting their thoughts onto those around them rather than picking up others thoughts. Water breathers are finding themselves spitting Fire instead. Pyromancers are suddenly making it rain instead. It's pure madness and Anevay is here for it all the way.
