General Group Updates
Moving to the Forums Full Time
Starting August 1st, we’ll no longer accept admin work on DeviantArt (aside from approving art to be included in the group).
There has been very very little admin work on the DA group, and most members have been actively using the new forums and adjusting to our site.
Any notes that haven’t been processed on DA yet will still be processed, but all new notes need to come through our forums instead.
Please note that the journals on DA are all considered outdated. While the vast majority of information there is still currently correct, there are a few things which have changed so those journals should not be referenced, moving forward.
Log/Registration Conversions
You’ve all probably already seen our new Registration method. We’re looking to convert all active Quirlicorns to this new system over time, and felt the best way to achieve this is to be sure that active Quirlicorns must first be converted before we can process Chime Checks, new Deity Quests, Breedings, etc.
We know this might feel like a lot to take in/on but rest assured we have looked at ways to make this transition as smooth and painless as possible.
3 new admins have been brought on to help handle the influx of conversions so they can happen in a timely manner and you can all get the things done you want.
If you are sending in a breeding, only your own Quirlicorns are required to be transferred, that way we aren’t converting horses without people being able to be directly aware of the conversion. If you are active with your horses and you are giving out breeding slots, we ask that you please have these horses converted.
If you send any of your horses in for checks, activities etc and they have not yet been converted we will decline your request and ask you to get the horse converted before re-sending your requests.
Chime Update
In an effort to save our Chime admins sanity and to help prevent farming we’ve officially added a cap of 25 Chimes per piece. The only exception to this is in the case of comics with clearly defined plots. Comics currently have no Chime count limit per image.
Please be sure to break up any literature that may be above the 25 Chime cap, so that you can still get full Chime points for these pieces.
Admin Opportunities
We are still open for admin applications. Currently we’d like to add one more general admin to help with Registration conversions and Log updates.
We’re also looking to add a breeding admin, as well as an additional Chime admin.

General Group Updates
Forums
- Several minor updates to the forums.
- Adding templates to the forums to fill out, as well as adjusting a few forums to accept admin duties that had previously been an oversight.
- Logged a bug where forum buttons sometimes don’t appear
- Logged a bug where formatting threads first, doesn’t allow for line breaks
- Admin Applications forum added
- Link to main website added to main menu
Admin Team
- 4 new admins have been added to the team.
- 3 have been trained in registration conversion and official log updates and will be tackling these as they come in
- 1 is currently being trained to help with design approvals
Misc
- Adjusted various templates to reflect new updates
- Started a running to-do list for the site
- Updated DA front page to direct members to the website
- Social Media accounts created (Twitter is still unable to be confirmed because of technical difficulties)
- Yule Incentive Import Lines now available with different variations
- favicon added
Website
- Current Events added to front page
- Newcomer guide created
- Quirlicorn of the Month Page added
- FAQs page added (still being worked on)
- Regional Transformations updated
- Clarified Guardians page to explain how to remove curses from your land
- Regions and Magic page redone, to be more organized and easier to edit long term
- Footer updated on most pages to have accurate social media links
- Added Registry and Line Art links to the Resource page
- Stray Relocation Center page added, still missing information for Strays though (Stray center is currently on hold)
- Group Horses page added with each horses image, pheno and geno and slowly adding all the links to their logs
- Land Quest Page redone to update info and make prompts with no item drop stand out more
- Breeding page added
- Design Guide added and organized for easy overview.
- Anomalies page added and sorted in alphabetical order
- Incentives page added for easy organized access to previous incentives
